So I’ve been creating a lot of promotional materials for myself and I often tell people what process I’m doing, and 90% of the time, they don’t get it. Spot UV makes work stand out, if applied right, and sometimes, it’s really hard to find a reliable printer that will match your Spot UV file.

Spot UV is basically a selective UV coating process, instead of a full gloss coat on a flyer or business card, you define what areas are coated. Below are samples of my business card and comp card.

I didn’t have too much time to shoot this Vanquish during this shoot, we we’re running out of light, Jim had to take his bro to the airport (Jim, if you read this, tisk tisk) and I still had another car to shoot. So while I wanted to have another background for the Vanquish, I couldn’t get to one in time. So I figured, make the best out of by using what I know. The series below shows the 2 different shots I used to combine into one. The first one is the background, which is a picture of the Experience Music Project, and the second is of the Aston Martin in it’s original location. The tools and tips I used to create the final product will be available soon in a book by myself and Jason Siu.

So i’ve been wanting to shoot a Porsche for the longest time, go figure the first one I get ahold of is the C-GT. This is actually Scooters brothers car, and isn’t slated for a publication yet. This is a rig shot done up at Arlington Airport. Thanks to Orlando Ech’s help with this shot.

Wasn’t too long ago that I shot this car down in California, but as of currently, the car is actually residing here in Seattle where I got to finish up the photo shoot that I had started. The weather was not being nice, so we had to escape to a local parking garage that actually contrasted well against the bright orange car.

Here is another rig shot of the Car Nutz Customs Aston Martin Vanquish. This one was shot in the same alley, but has a better effect on it with the green hue and the moon in the background.
