CSSElite.com & The Big Word Project

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

So this morning I found out that the guys at CSSElite.com have accepted my site for their gallery showcase! Which of course is awesome news to me! Thanks to those guys at CSSElite.com for their support, please check them out when you get the chance!

I also was surfing on Wired.com yesterday when I came across this site, www.thebigwordproject.com.
Now these guys have done something similar to the Million dollar webpage ($1 for a pixel banner, etc). Where they imported the entire dictionary, and you, the user, could buy a word, for a $1 a letter. I ended up buying automotive and vehicle, and it was actually noticed by the guys that run the site. Check out their blog for their favorite photo sites!

Also, if you guys are interested, there is another site that displays random CSS websites, this can be found at www.cssrand.com. It’s worth checking out.

Seattle at Rush Hour

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

You can really only get this picture during the winter, the traffic with the sunset and the city make this image. It was freezing cold, but I managed to get a good shot of the city at Sunset with a great sunset.

Seattle from Holgate

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

This is a picture taken of Seattle on a very cold and windy night on Holgate street. I didn’t get the best results on this one, lots of noise, but it came out decent enough to add it here.

Downtown Seattle Traffic

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

This was taken off the Yesler bridge that goes over I-5 straight through the heart of Seattle. We had an amazing sunset this night so I figured this would  be a good shot to have.
